Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments suitable for your next vacation to Marbella, Spain. The system only allows taxies licensed in Elveria to pick up in the Elveria area ie: Marriott included so often they are sitting in the rank for ages and happy to go direct. Tip: The resort provides laundry detergent for two loads. Playa Andaluza also has English-language movie channels, whereas the Marbella resort had none. Drenched in Mediterranean style and a rich heritage, here you'll find an exhilarating mixture of the sensuous and spiritual that characterizes the Costa del Sol; a world of colorful flamenco dancers and mouthwatering foods that are as passionately seasoned as the culture.
Surround yourself with indulgences such as beachfront dining, rejuvenating spa treatments and extravagant nightlife. We are the only company that all our staff have worked directly for the Marriott Vacation Club at Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort and have a licensed resales office where you can come in for help and advice face to face whilst on holiday. After Repsol Gas Station on your left take Elviria exit and from the roundabout cross over the bridge towards sea side. On the positive side it forced us to relax and unwind. The accommodation and staff including the gardeners are friendly non intrusive and helpful.
One of the worst Pizzas we have eaten in a very long time. We took advantage of the Jacuzzi bath and laundry machines in our room to enjoy a needed reprieve after 11 days of Andalusian exploration covering Seville Granada Ronda Malaga and our final stop. The toll was about 6 euros and the road was empty. The architecture and lay out is really good with spacious 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Marriott's Playa Andaluza invites you to a place of relaxation surrounded by lush beauty. I also think there is a small herb garden.
Beach access is great, but not so much of a swimming beach, great for collecting shells though. Please to read the Don Jagoda Associates internet privacy statement. It's too windy and cold outside to sunbath. Located on the shimmering Costa del Sol, Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort embodies the captivating allure and romance of southern Spain. The second bedroom has two twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. You may enjoy an afternoon of shuffleboard or a full range of options in the fun court. There are electric grills, instead of barbeques, though they work in a similar method.
Overall this is a great resort; the pools are all great, beach front lounge chairs were plentiful I went in May and the front desk was very accommodating. It's size and layout also means that one needs to walk quite a bit further to store, gym, beach etc. Take the one-day tour to Tangiers available at the Concierge. Take a day trip to nearby exotic locales, golf magnificent courses or sip wine and sample tapas by the sea. Perhaps extend the happy period and to all drinks. The resort is beautiful and plush but definitely not ideal to get to without a car. Some facilities may be closed.
Steps from your door are miles of awe-inspiring golden beaches that are second only to the breathtaking sunsets. As already suggested you could call the resort to check. Experience all the charm and romance of this magical Mediterranean seaside resort. As requested, it was in the room and complete, what a treat. The Marbella resort is also a lot larger than the Playa Andaluza resort. Santa Maria and Santa Clara Golf Courses are within 3. The beach at Playa Andaluza is much bigger and better.
You will receive a written Marriott Vacation Club confirmation in your name, which confirms the arrival and departure dates, the number of bedrooms in your apartment and all other information needed for your resort check in. But, to be fair, both properties offer good service, comfortable accomodations and all the usual Marriott services and quality one expects. Parking can be an issue at peak times and although there is underground parking many of the bays are small and there are a lot of concrete pillars. However, if all you plan on doing is to kickback and relax, the pristine Elvria beach is right on your doorstep too! We also got a completely under-cooked large Pizza from the Marbella resort's Pizzeria and, aside from the poor cooking skill, the overall taste of the dough and the ingredients was simply very poor. Set amongst beautiful, lush gardens with many flowers, palms and greenery, the apartments are sizeable, tastefully decorated and of a very high quality. Resort has a market too that can be used for urgent needs, but the prices are little higher than the super market.
A couple of smaller niggles are that Happy Hour at Marbella really is a half-baked Happy Hour. Front desk gave us a hard time with our room reservation and made our check in much more stressful than we hoped for. One stand out feature is the landscaping - really nicely done. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future! There is also a grocery store on-site. I'm so happy with my Marriott Vacation Club weeks and being an owner, I get special discounts at all locations which is another positive perk which saves me up to 30% off the rack rate.
The Nespresso machine in the kitchen was greatly appreciated and the resort charged an extremely fair price for the Nespresso pods. The concierge made some arrangements for a 1 day visit in Tangier, Morocco. The master retreat is well appointed with a king-size bed. There are four main dining options on site, the popular Chill Bar is an outdoor sofa bar serving cocktails, wine and tapas whilst Charlie's Restrobar and the Beachside Bar and Grille offer casual dining. Overall this is a great resort; the pools are all great, beach front lounge chairs were plentiful I went in May and the front desk was very accommodating. You will surely enjoy the fully furnished private balcony or patio! Overall, very nice place with average service, however, would not recommend. The open living space includes living and dining areas with elegant and comfortable furnishings. Yes it costs about 125 Euros per person. Interestingly the kids pool closes at 2100 which is about dinner time in Spain. We also dined at Charlie's Resto Bar at the resort on the one night we were too tired to drive into Marbella. It's nice to hear that you didn't have to leave the community… We appreciate your review, Jackie.
