Question: Whats the legal age difference to date in UK?

Heterosexuality. The legal age of sexual consent for heterosexuals in the UK is 16. Consent means agreeing to something, in this case to having sexual intercourse. Statutory rape is when one or both of the parties engaging in sexual activity are below the age of consent.

Sam 20 March 2018 The law in the UK says that you need to be at least 16 before you can consent to have sex. This changes to 18 if the other person is someone in a position of trust - like a teacher or doctor. Once youre 16 you can legally have sex with anyone older than you, as long as both of you feel okay with it.
