343 Industries has confirmed that Halo Infinites campaign will support 2-player local split screen, and up to 4 players online. This newest entry will make Halo open world, with upgrades to discover and new weapons to find.
Will new Halo have split-screen?
The great news is that, yes, split-screen will be included in Halo Infinite. This was confirmed by 343 themselves last year (via Gamesradar), with the studio head Chris Lee confirming with some fanfare that we will have split-screen and we will have co-op when we launch Halo Infinite.

Halo: CE Anniversary – 2 players max, split-screen or online. Halo 2: Anniversary – 2 players max, split-screen or online. Halo 3 – 4 players max online, 2 players max split-screen. Halo 4 – 4 players max online, 2 players max split-screen.
