What age can you emancipate yourself in Arkansas?

17 years old To get a declaration of emancipation, you have to prove ALL of these things: ✓ You are at least 17 years old. ✓ You dont want to live with your parents. ✓ Your parents dont mind if you move out. ✓ You can handle your own money.

When can I leave home? You can leave home without your parents or guardians consent at the age of 16. If your parents are worried, they can apply to the Family Court to put you under the guardianship of the Court where the Court can make major decisions for you until you are 18.
